Compiling glorglox

You'll also need gd. Put gd.h and libgd.a in the same directory as glorglox.

glorglox compiles fine on most UNIX platforms. Let me know if you get it working on something other than one of the following:

• Linux 2.0
• SunOS 4.1.3
• BSDI 1.1
• BSDI 2.0
• DEC OSF/1
• IRIX 5.3

Be sure to change the configuration strings at the top of the source code before compiling. You should probably put your glorglox.conf file in your httpd/conf directory (or wherever you would put imagemap.conf).

Just make ... and it should all work!

Configuring glorglox

This is pretty straightforward. All of the relevant files for the glorglox demo are available online; just download them all and fiddle.

By using glorglox, you agree to:

• Use "glorglox" as the name of your cgi-bin executable.
• Include full credit to me and to NCSA for any derivative works by retaining the above header in the source code.

• Inform the author, Tom Rathborne that you're using it, and give me the URL of at least one place where you're using it. These URLs may be publicized unless you specifically ask that they be kept private.
• Include a link to the glorglox page, http://www.net/~tomr/progs/glorglox/ on, at least, the most visible of those pages.
