Some of these images are just scans of stuff I've found. The first one is a scan of a photograph I took. Many have undergone extensive processing to make them look as good as they do here. Some of them demonstrate transparency, courtesy of various tools. The reason I mention transparency is that these images were made when transparency in images was a big deal.
